Do you remember those theme papers you would write in elementary and middle school? Like the ones the kid writes on A Christmas Story and gets so excited about? I always loved those things. I loved journal projects. I like writing. I'm the geek who, while many people were struggling to get the minimum page requirement for an assignment, was having trouble staying below the maximum. Yeah, I tend to ramble. THIS is my journal.
I don't like any emotion except happiness. I love to laugh--I hate to cry. I hate it when other people cry. I like to ignore emotions and pretend like they don't exist. It doesn't work no matter how hard I try. So, I have found that writing about the things that are happening in my life gives me an outlet to try and spin things in a more positive, humorous light. I've been told more than once that I take things to seriously. (When I say more than once, I mean countless times.) So welcome to my efforts to not take things so seriously. Feel free to laugh at/with me on this journey.
